We’re thrilled and delighted to see Peter Edwards launching his fantastic Trio’s debut album, Safe And Sound at PizzaExpress Dean Street on Saturday 5 April at 1.00pm. It’s yet another ‘first‘ from this super-talented pianist/composer.
Having come up through the ranks of Tomorrow’s Warriors through our programme of weekly jam sessions back in the day, Peter was our first intern when we moved to our first office in 2003. Since then, it’s been our massive pleasure to watch him grow as an artist, band leader and composer/arranger, becoming the reason Tomorrow’s Warriors created its first orchestras – Tomorrow’s Warriors Youth Orchestra and Nu Civilisation Orchestra – and for which Peter became, and still is, our first musical director.
A wonderful pianist highly respected by his peers, joined by the very eloquent Moses Boyd (drums) and Max Luthert (double bass), you really must get along to the album launch – Saturday 5 April at 1.00pm.
