The Role

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to join an ambitious and creative team. Working closely you will help raise the profile of Tomorrow’s Warriors through social media and other communications channels and drive growth through fundraising events, community fundraising and support our individual donors programme.

We are looking for a conscientious, highly motivated Marketing and Development Coordinator to work at our Headquarters in Harrow. The post-holder will be supporting various aspects of the marketing and development function in this busy organisation. Candidates will be required to show strong marketing and communication skills with the confidence to actively engage on all social media channels. We are looking for a talented person that enjoys variety in their work, as well as having an eye for detail and being able to write good copy, you will also relish the opportunity to help organise, market and plan events for our donors and sponsors. You will attend events as an ambassador for the organisation and work with the consultants and management team to monitor levels of engagement. You will be assisted by senior team members whom you will also support with their marketing and communication requirements. The post-holder will support the events programme and will develop the quarterly newsletter.

You will have at least three years of practical experience – preferably gained in a charity and/or music/arts organisation – and a meticulous approach to the role. You will be involved in social administration. This role requires a self-starter with the confidence to keep on top of office administration and the ability to work on their own initiative as necessary.

Candidates must be organised, calm under pressure, personable and fully conversant with administrative systems, databases and Microsoft Excel.

The successful applicant will be based at our offices in Harrow, NW London. Our nearest station is Harrow & Wealdstone – 14 mins on the fast train from London Euston mainline, plus good connections with Clapham/Willesden/Watford Junctions. The Bakerloo tube line also terminates here.
