Apply To Be A Warrior!

The Tomorrow’s Warriors Young Artist Development Programme is 100% free-to-access, comprehensive jazz training and mentorship, designed for young musicians aged 11-25 to pursue their passion, develop skills, and prepare for professional training and the music industry.

Providing weekly sessions delivered by award-wining alumni and those currently leading the jazz scene in London, we nurture nascent talent and help aspiring young artists discover their magic and achieve creative ambitions.

We welcome young people to apply who show the following attributes:

  • a solid foundation on a chosen instrument
  • a high level of motivation and commitment to improve
  • a willingness to move out of your musical comfort zone
  • an aspiration to study jazz music to a higher level.

We particularly welcome applications from Black and Global Majority students, female musicians, and young people facing socio-economic challenges.

We offer two intakes each year – September and January – and young people are welcomed into one of seven tiered weekly development sessions running across academic terms on Thursday-Sunday at the Southbank Centre, London.

Important note: Due to high demand, there is a waiting list to join our programme. Please check against the criteria above before applying and we will aim to contact you within three-months of submission.

Don’t forget to sign up to our newsletter to find out about other ways to get involved in Tomorrow’s Warriors activities, such as our summer school, special master classes, jam sessions and gigs.

We look forward to receiving your application!
