“Tomorrow’s Warriors is a fantastic project on many different levels. Firstly, the level of motivation and inspiration to the young people to play Jazz is amazing. Secondly, the transparent policy of inclusion and accessibility is such a positive, empowering and enriching message for everyone involved. Thirdly, the level of musical achievement by so many of the young warriors is phenomenal. For all of these reasons and many more, Tomorrow’s Warriors plays a huge role in our children’s lives and I am so grateful for this.”

Tomorrow’s Warriors Trust is a registered charity dedicated to helping gifted and talented young people excel as the musicians, performers, and music leaders of the future. For a quarter of a century, we have inspired thousands of young people to find their own musical voice, helping them to develop as confident and creative individuals.

All too often, talent lies undiscovered. Here at Tomorrow’s Warriors we are committed to seeking out and cultivating these talents, whatever the young person’s background or financial circumstances. We currently deliver in excess of 400 workshops and work with over 5,000 young people each year, working in partnership with arts organisations and schools across the UK and further afield.

We have a 100% track record of helping our young people who wish to progress into higher education to study music at college, university or conservatoire. Many go on to form their own professional ensembles, with our alumni including award-winning artists such as Binker & Moses, EskaZara McFarlane, Nubya Garcia, Nérija, Ezra Collective and Empirical, among many others. Through our artistic programme, we bring our emerging and established artists into contact with up to 100,000 audience members each year, helping artists and audiences to forge lifelong, sustainable relationships and keep jazz alive.

With increased pressure on public funding, philanthropic support is becoming ever more vital to ensure that Tomorrow’s Warriors can continue to foster a lifelong love of music. Your support will enable us to continue to give young people the opportunity to benefit from our world-class music education, especially those with a background from the African Diaspora and girls, who are often under-represented in the music industry.

There are lots of ways you can support our work, including:

  • making a one-off donation (for donations of £100+, please get in touch so we can direct you to an alternative portal)
  • becoming a regular donor (match funding available until Summer 2019!)
  • shopping at your favourite online retailers via Give As You Live
  • donating an instrument, or
  • volunteering your skills and/or time to help at events, workshops or other areas of our activities

In return you will be kept updated on our news and gain an insight into how we develop and inspire our young people.  All that, along with the knowledge that you are helping to shape the next generation of British jazz talent.
