Tomorrow’s Warriors alumni were all over the news recently for leading the charge to keep jazz live and current!

Journalist and broadcaster, Tina Edwards wrote her predictions for jazz in 2018 on ezhmag.com

“The importance [of Jazz re:freshed and Tomorrow’s Warriors] should continue to be celebrated loudly in 2018, before artists’ biographies and press releases are re-written by the major labels”

Big up the Warriors and big up our good, good friends at Jazz Re:freshed. In our humble opinion, Tina is bang on the money in recognising the importance of both organisations to an exciting, diverse, thriving UK jazz ecology. Thank you, Tina for the shoutout. Like you, we’re done with ‘jazz waves’. What we have is a jazz tsunami!

And after Tina’s great piece, comes another journalist, Roseanne Hanley writing for TimeOut under the headline:

London’s brightest jazz stars

All four are Tomorrow’s Warriors alumni! Warm congrats to Nubya Garcia, Zara McFarlane, Moses Boyd and Camilla George on this fantastic, and highly-deserved acclaim. Keep shining!
