Having previously taken our ground-breaking outreach programme to Hull, and Gloucester and Stroud, Tomorrow’s Warriors head to the south coast for the first time, teaming up with local partners AudioActive, New Generation Jazz, and Create Music to deliver a programme of seven A GRIME SUPREME workshops, before a showcase Brighton Fringe performance at the Wundabarn, Spiegelgardens on Wednesday 28th May.
The project explores and creates connections between grime and jazz, building bridges between the two forms of music which are often segregated and disconnected, largely due to social and economic inequalities as well as artistic differences.

This latest instalment of the project kicked off on Saturday 29th March, with twenty-four young musicians aged 13-25 bringing their passion and creativity to AudioActive’s Worthing rehearsal rooms for a day of workshops with Tomorrow’s Warriors Music Leaders, multi-award-winning drummer Moses Boyd, tenor saxophonist AHNANSÉ (Steam Down), and acclaimed producer Swindle (Loyle Carner, Celeste, Ghetts), alongside Hatter and Bobbie Johnson from AudioActive, plus Miles Simpson and Jack Kendon from New Generation Jazz.
