Inspiring Music, Inspiring Change

Calling all aspiring young jazz musicians and their parents!

On Saturday 6 October 2012 Tomorrow’s Warriors host free open day to launch their new Young Artist Development Programme.

The aim of the day is for young people, parents and musicians to learn about Tomorrow’s Warriors new jazz development programme for 2012, to check out our ongoing residency at the Southbank Centre, London and find out about the different ways to get involved.

Tomorrow’s Warriors works with young people and musicians, offering free specialist training and performance opportunities, and the chance for young people to hone their performance skills with a faculty of some of the most experienced, diverse, and acclaimed music leaders and professional artists in the UK.

Tomorrow’s Warriors Young Artist Development programme will offer increased performance opportunities and mentoring building on high quality learning opportunities for the young people.

We will also be developing a new approach to the delivery of jazz with an emphasis on girls. We aim to reduce the bias towards boys in this field and give girls more opportunities to develop their performance skills.

We will also build on our offer of Continuing Professional Development for the music leaders in our new Music Leader Faculty.

Please join us at the Southbank Centre to get involved
