Oh how proud are we?! What an outstanding performance from the wonderful EZRA Collective who totally smashed it when they made their Royal Albert Hall debut as part of the Music For Youth (MFY) School Proms.

You may remember that, earlier this year, they earned the Best Jazz Ensemble prize at the National Festival of Music for Youth hosted in Birmingham. Since then, they’ve been powering through, building up their jazz and Afrobeat chops so that, by the time they hit the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, they were absolutely ready to roll, and ready to entertain the hordes of people in the hall.

Our team had had a long day in London on an away day and so this was a fabulous way for all of us to  unwind and remind ourselves why we do what we do. It’s so gratifying to see the growth in maturity and stature of these brilliant young musicians, and makes us so incredibly proud.

The short video above shows some extracts from their performance – do stay with it to the end to see how they engaged the entire Royal Albert Hall and brought the crowd with them.  Congratulations, and thank you James Mollison, Dylan Jones, Joe Armon-Jones, TJ Koleoso and the inimitable Femi Koleoso. It was a great moment in the history of Tomorrow’s Warriors, and one we won’t forget in a very long time! Well done!
