An excellent and timely keynote from actor/comedian, Lenny Henry who calls for action to stem the exodus from the UK of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) talent in the film and TV industry.

Comments from the floor follow his talk, including Roger Graef (Films Of Record) who comments: ‘Each time they tick a box for diversity, they say we’re all for it, and nothing changes….The Brits declare themselves tolerant, but they never examine that question at all. They never test it against what actually happens.’

And theatre director, Olusola Oyeleye warns ‘we ignore the word racism at our peril‘.

If you can, do watch it all the way through and come back with your thoughts…
