Fantastic news! Tomorrow’s Warriors has been confirmed as a PRS Foundation (PRSF) Talent Development Partner. We are one of just 45 organisations selected to be part of the PRSF network of Talent Development Partners supporting individual music creators across different music genres and UK regions. Tomorrow’s Warriors will receive funding of £15,400 from PRSF towards our Young Artist Development Programme in 2019/20, enabling us to continue developing up to 20 advanced young jazz musicians on our Young Artist Development Programme, and commission new music from our globetrotting Warriors alumni to be performed by future generations of Tomorrow’s Warriors.
According to PRSF:
‘PRS Foundation’s Talent Development Partners have been selected for the quality and range of opportunities they are offering in their region/music specialism and the year-round impact their work is having on the music creators they support.’
On receiving the news, our CEO, Janine Irons said:
‘We are proud and excited to join this prestigious network of leading talent development professionals. It’s fantastic to have the Tomorrow’s Warriors Young Artist Development Programme recognised by PRSF, and to be acknowledged for our success as a commissioner and creative producer in providing appropriate platforms for the development and presentation of outstanding new artists and music. We’re grateful to PRSF for their generous support and look forward to working more closely with the Foundation and fellow TDPs over the coming year.’
THANK YOU to PRS Foundation for supporting us and helping us nurture the musical talent of even more incredible young jazz artists over the coming year.
