NEW: Vocal Warriors programme launches 24 March
CALLING ALL VOCALISTS!
We are very excited to announce that award-winning vocalist and Tomorrow’s Warriors alumna, Zara McFarlane will join our Music Leader Faculty this Spring!
Zara will lead a brand new Vocal Warriors programme, delivering our first ever series dedicated to supporting aspiring young jazz vocalists.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Vocal Warriors programme is open to intermediate/advanced vocalists aged 11-25 who wish to expand their knowledge of jazz and will focus on building jazz vocabulary and repertoire.
As an organisation, Tomorrow’s Warriors prioritises applications from black musicians and, for this new session, we are especially keen to hear from male vocalists, who are underrepresented among vocalists in jazz.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
As with all Tomorrow’s Warriors learning programmes, the sessions are 100% £FREE to access, ensuring there will be no financial barriers to any young musician in securing the support they need to achieve their full musical potential.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The first session will be online on Wednesday 24th March 5.00pm-6.00pm. Regular weekly sessions will run thereafter from the Easter holidays (most likely on a Wednesday, but we will confirm this closer to the time).
To register your interest in joining this programme, please complete our pre-enrolment form here. (Existing members of Tomorrow’s Warriors should contact the Learn & Train team directly to register your interest.)
We just can’t wait to hear your beautiful voices! Sign up today!
NB: Registering your interest does not guarantee a place on the programme, but we aim to let you know as quickly as possible if we are able to offer you a place.
