More award news! Tomorrow’s Warriors Co-Founder and CEO, Janine Irons OBE, proudly accepted a Parliamentary Jazz Award 2023 for Services to Jazz at the awards ceremony hosted at PizzaExpress Live Holborn on 4 July.
Incredibly, this is the sixtieth award presented to either Janine, Gary Crosby OBE or Tomorrow’s Warriors as an organisation, since our journey began in 1991.
And there was more Warriors related success at the awards too, with TW alumni and one of our current Music Leaders, Sultan Stevenson, deservedly scooping the accolade for Best Newcomer. Sultan released his debut album Faithful One on Whirlwind Records in March and followed this up with a sold-out show at London’s Jazz Café.
